Tiffany & Co. | Newest home collection under Lauren Santo Domingo, Tiffany Crest
EMBARGO 21 November - Tiffany & Co. Announces the Launch of Tiffany Crest: The Latest Home Collection From Lauren Santo Domingo, Artistic Director of the Home Category
NEW YORK, NY (November 21, 2023)—Tiffany & Co. today announces the debut of Tiffany Crest, the latest Tiffany Home collection from Lauren Santo Domingo, the House’s recently appointed Artistic Director of the home category. Inspired by family crests during the late 17th century which were decorated on Chinese export porcelain, the new home collection is an expression of the House’s legacy and motifs that pays homage to the brand’s heritage. Embellished with recognizable Tiffany & Co. symbols and iconography, Santo Domingo’s new home collection is comprised of dinnerware, drinkware, table linens and more bringing a historically significant emblem design to the luxury house’s home category.
“Designing a coat of arms, so to speak, for Tiffany & Co.—honoring its own unique history—was a special endeavor,” said Lauren Santo Domingo, Artistic Director, Tiffany Home. “Incorporating the maple leaf, silversmithing tools, gemstones, the year of founding and the motto ‘Return to Tiffany’ in Latin naturally felt well-deserved.”
The design of the Tiffany Crest shield features numerous themes from the House’s long-standing legacy. Jean Schlumberger’s iconic Bird on a Rock is perched atop the shield’s orange and blue background, inspired by the official flag colors of New York City. Within the shield itself, archival dragonfly designs that pay homage to the famous Tiffany lamps, diamonds, hammers to depict the House’s craftmanship legacy and maple leaves, for the state tree of New York, are illustrated. The Latin phrase Revertere Ad Tiffany—translating to “Return to Tiffany”—is featured on the bottom of the crest, while the display of “1837” represents the year the House was founded.
The Tiffany Crest collection will include dinnerware pieces encompassing a charger, dinner plate, dessert plate and bread and butter plate in an array of gold-rimmed plates crafted from bone china. Drinkware will include wine glasses, highballs and opulent tea and coffee products featured with gold rim accents. Tiffany Crest linens and a sterling silver five-piece flatware set will also be available.
The Tiffany Crest collection will be available at Tiffany & Co. flagship stores in North America, Tiffany.com and ModaOperandi.com globally this November and offered at Tiffany & Co. stores globally in 2024.
