Tiffany & Co. Introduces New Freshwater Pearl Designs from the Tiffany Titan by Pharrell Williams Collection

NEW YORK, NY (September 10, 2024)—Tiffany & Co. today announces the new designs from the Tiffany Titan by Pharrell Williams collection, featuring freshwater pearls. Tiffany Titan by Pharrell Williams is inspired by the trident of Poseidon, ruler of the sea and King of Atlantis—a nod to Atlantis, the community in Virginia Beach where Pharrell Williams was raised. A symbol of fearless individuality, the spear-like motif is juxtaposed by a uniquely shaped link that is curved and soft. Portraying a dialogue between tension, proportion and balance, the collection appeals to individuals with a unique mindset and powerful force that confronts the ordinary. The initial launch of Tiffany Titan by Pharrell Williams featured 18k yellow gold or black titanium in all-metal and diamond iterations. The House introduces high-luster freshwater pearl and diamond pieces to the collection, exemplifying inventive design and craftsmanship and ushering in a new era of fine jewelry.

“The inspiration of the collection comes from my affinity with the water; and the name of the collection, ‘Titan,’ draws influence from Poseidon, ruler of the sea, King of Atlantis. ‘Atlantis’ is also the name of the community where I grew up in Virginia Beach,” said Pharrell Williams. “In Japan, it was believed that pearls were created from the tears of mythical water creatures; so I naturally gravitated towards them as a means of expressing this connection to water.”
The newest Tiffany Titan by Pharrell Williams designs juxtapose the diamond spear motif with pearls of over 11 mm, forming distinctive silhouettes, including necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings. Pearls have always been a hallmark of Tiffany® design, from the seed-pearl suite that Abraham Lincoln gifted to his wife, Mary Todd Lincoln, for the presidential inaugural ball in 1862 to the rare saltwater pearls featured in the Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany Bird on a Pearl capsule collection. Key pieces in the new designs of Tiffany Titan by Pharrell Williams feature a statement necklace with freshwater pearls and nearly 1 total carat of diamonds, and a bracelet with freshwater pearls and over 2 total carats of diamonds. On the bracelet and necklace, spike rondelles crafted from 18k gold alternate with the pearls for a striking aesthetic.
